Each year, it honors the most groundbreaking tools and techniques for discovering and producing hydrocarbons, judged by a panel of distinguished professionals on their transformative technical and economic impact.

Breakthrough Thermal Stability

**UltraFrac™ HT Fluid** is specifically designed for ultra-high temperature wells up to **230°C (446°F)**. The system achieves this industry-leading thermal stability through a unique three-component synergy:

  • Synthetic Polymer: Primary gelling agent for robust viscosity.
  • Zirconium Crosslinker: Provides stable network structures under stress.
  • Multifunctional Additive: Simultaneously serves as a pH buffer, crosslinking delay agent, and temperature stabilizer.

Proven Field Performance

When fully broken, the fluid turns into a water-thin liquid with **zero solid residues**, enabling residue-free fracture cleanup and protecting reservoir permeability. The technology has delivered a **100% operation success rate** across 15 well treatments in the Qinghai, Daqing, and Tuha oil fields.

Key performance milestones include:

  • Average friction-reduction rate exceeding **72%**.
  • Cumulative fluid volume used exceeding **20,000 cubic meters**.
  • Domestic records for the largest-scale fracturing job and highest pumping rate at 230°C.
